YMCA of Greater Miami is dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable child care to fit the needs of working parents.  Our highly trained staff interacts with children while incorporating the YMCA’s 4 core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility to everyday fun and games.  The Y offers numerous opportunities for children to express their talents in the arts, sports and other areas of interest.  Kids find out what success is all about in an approach that says everybody plays, everybody wins.  Time is set aside for tackling homework, with adult help available and there is always a healthy snack provided.  

A Commitment to Children’s Safety and Protection

At the YMCA of Greater Miami you can rest assured your child’s safety is our main concern.  YMCA staff are all background checked and fingerprinted.  Once approved, each staff member undergoes our very own YMCA training.   

Fees and Registration

At the YMCA of Greater Miami you have the option of enrolling your child in afterschool care, before school care or both.   Afterschool is $36 a week and includes care immediately after school up until 6:00 p.m.  Before school care is $20 a week and is available at Cypress Elementary.  Before school care provides your child with supervision as early as 7:00 a.m.  A $40 registration fee is required for all first time students.  Payments are accepted bi-weekly in the form of a check, money order, credit card or bank draft.  Registration is open throughout the year just by stopping by the YMCA afterschool location of your choice between the hours of 2:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.   YMCA child care is open to all, with financial assistance available.
